Why Choose Real Estate?

Why Real Estate?

Growing up my family always used to joke that whatever I saw, I wanted to be. We went to Sea World and I wanted to be the person who swam with whales, we went to Cirque Du Soleil and I wanted to be an acrobat. I haven’t fulfilled those young fantasies yet but I have landed something even better.
Why Real Estate?

Why become a Realtor?
Why did I choose real estate? Was it another one of the rash dreams because I walked through an open house once? Not quite, I chose real estate because I am passionate about a few key things and it hit all my boxes!

My Passion
I went to school for business and I decided to get my Master of Business afterwards. Not because I felt like I had to get an MBA but because I am passionate about all things business. I always loved numbers and the idea of working for myself. I knew I wanted to learn as much as I could during my university years and then enter into the work force ready and equipped as best as I could be.

Prior to graduation I had 5 criteria of what I wanted in a job.
  1. Flexibility
  2. Growth Potential
  3. Unlimited Possibility
  4. Challenge
  5. Personal Influence/relational
Now, those criteria seem vague, but in fact, they helped direct me to pursue real estate. I always loved the idea of real estate investing and when my first investment property proved to be successful, I was hooked! Real Estate quickly became a passion and I knew it was going to be my most comfortable investment.
Now, I am able to share what I have learned about real estate and markets with others. Whether it is helping an investor acquire a property and increase their net assets or helping homeowners find their next perfect home, I enjoy informing and mentoring all my clients through the buy and sell process.

That’s my story into Real Estate. Funny enough it worked out well for me because I am not the strongest swimmer so working at Sea World may not have turned out and I am one of the least flexible people, so an acrobat would have proved to be very painful! For now, I’ll stick with Real Estate.
