In 2012, after some prompting from my husband I decided to get my real estate license. I have always enjoyed working to find and negotiate the best deals and the thrill of getting a deal would energize me. I have worked with people from all ages and in all walks of life for over 23 years. Encouraging and helping people is my passion. My stress-free personality and excitement of a deal is what makes working in real estate so much fun. I look at every transaction as if it were my own and getting you the most for your money is what I do best. I love having fun, laughing and I am easy-going. There are not many things that get me worked up or stressed and in the real estate business, when moments can become tense, I will be able to keep you calm and relaxed. Real estate combines my two passions of working with people and negotiating for the best deal, and is why I have loved my job for almost 9 years.

I have been selling Real Estate since 2012 in the Barrie and surrounding areas, including Orillia, Northern Ontario, Guelph, Hamilton and Toronto. In 2017 I completed my Brokers License, expanding my skills, knowledge and insight of Real Estate and the business as a whole.

When I am not busy helping clients, you can find me spending time outdoors, going for walks and exploring new places. Summer is by far my favourite season as I love the warmth and sunshine. In the winter, I usually try to escape some of the cold weeks by traveling someplace with hot temperatures and beaches.

I love spending time with my family and soon to be grandchildren.

I’m Cassidy

I was entering my 4th year at McMaster University in Commerce when my mom mentioned to me that it would be a good idea for me to start getting my real estate licence. It didn’t take me long to consider it and jump right in. Throughout my 4th year of studying and playing on the woman’s varsity soccer team, I worked away at studying and writing my real estate exams. With the intention of getting registered after I graduated, I took a turn in a different direction and went back to school to get my Masters of Business Degree. I just wasn’t ready to leave McMaster University and playing soccer. Putting my real estate aside for a couple months I focused on classes and soccer until one day a boutique brokerage in Hamilton offered me a job to work with them. Finishing my MBA, I began working in real estate right away, focusing on new condominium projects. It was great experience and I knew that I wanted a career in real estate. It wasn’t long however when I realized that I wanted to move back to my hometown in Barrie and start working alongside my mother. We had always talked about forming a team and being business partners.

I have a passion for business and all things real estate, especially real estate investing. Building wealth through real estate is what I pursue to do for all of my clients. I graduated with an MBA from DeGroore School of Business, McMaster where I took a special interest in finance and real estate. I also completed a course in Negotiations that have proven to serve me well. Just recently I have completed the Seller Representative Specialist Designation and the Accredited Buyers Representation Designation. These courses have opened up skillsets and opportunities to further bring success to my clients.

When I am not working with clients, you can find me doing anything adventurous! I have just recently learned how to kite board and is my plan to get out on the water a lot this summer. Soccer has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I played on the varsity woman’s team for my 5 years at McMaster, becoming captain for the last two years. Now, I am coaching with the Barrie Soccer Club and sharing my knowledge of the game to young 10 year old aspiring athletes. Apart from sports and working out, I love spending time with my family.

That’s when in January 1st 2019 I started at RE/MAX Hallmark Chay in Barrie and TEAMDavis officially formed.

TEAMDavis now consists of Jody & Cassidy Davis but it really is a whole family effort. The whole Davis family helps and contributes to our team and the effort of all of our real estate business.
